About
PEGGY AND FRED IN HELL (PROLOGUE) is part of an on-going series of films about two small children making their way through a post-apocalyptic landscape. In the prologue, Peggy explores her own voice while Fred decorates the house. They find a flock of dead ducks and decide to move on. PEGGY AND FRED IN HELL will go as far as it can into unfurling the familiar. It is an arbitraty world they live in, not a sensible world, a horrible world, limiting, blind, stupid, arrogant, like any culture. – L.T. "Fred's performance is a partially intelligible song in which limericks, folksongs, and the Old Testament merge in a final deathblow to culture ... Peggy sings a Michael Jackson song, but rather than performing it she seems to inhabit its legend in a vacant, removed awareness ... The epic ... as a bottomless pit ..." – Linda Peckham, Unsound, vol. 2, #1.
