Lara Baksu is an artist and filmmaker based in London. Working across film and writing, her practice explores the relationship between image and lived experience. Her work unfolds through intuitive processes, often blurring the boundary between art and life.

Working with long takes and minimal intervention, she allows time, gesture, and presence to shape the image. Her films move through fragments and states of being rather than fixed narrative structures.

Her works include I’m in a Room Alone (2026), Ode to Womb (2024), and I’m Afraid That’s All We’ve Got Time For (2023).
