Composizione per sequenze e frequenze1978

Structural film conceived as an architectural construction where compositional rigor slows down and incorporates a Dionysian feeling of existence, wants to represent through almost physical blocks of frames a feeling of horror for the violence that pervades the contemporary world: lifeless bodies abandoned in cars lost in the bush, the advance of a marching army, a face that deforms into an expressionist scream, other faces, alternation of positive and negative frames: visual leitmotifs that recur obsessively. The time of desire runs faster on the film than the desire it arouses: music, a sort of sound poetry formed by the "vocalisms" of Mariella Buscemi and Mazzoleni himself, electronically reworked and mixed with industrial sounds with industrial sounds in a score similar to “music concrete”, he imprints the images of his inner, frenetic and unreal time.
