Karola Schlegelmilch, German artist and experimental filmmaker, born 1964 in Berlin. Works on the interplay of affective expectations and cultural viewing traditions, with what is perceived as reality. Projects in Germany, Iceland, France and Westafrican countries. Grants of Kunst Fond Bonn (1994, 2005), German Film Critics' Awards (1996, 2001). Master in Neuro-Cognitive Psychology in 2016.
