Studied fine arts/photography at the Gerrit Rietveldacademy in the Netherlands. Short films were screened at festivals in twenty-six countries. Using different media (video/film/drawing) to create a different world than the world we live in. With video and film, it is about creating non-existing landscapes/world’s using realistic images that in diverse ways are being transformed into something new/abstract. After my last short film “My little garden” I will perhaps start to work without sound. Because skipping sound is perhaps the most radical and abstract thing you can do, regarding the fact that sound is something that is always there, like time and space. And because I am bored with abstract sound a bit due to the limitations of the software with which abstract sound is normally created. But if I will abandon sound for the rest of my life I do not know yet………
