Screening

As part of their October 2025 issue FELINO, which is devoted to films and videos about cats, the Brooklyn-based science and film collective Labocine presents selections from our May 2025 revival of Pola Chapelle's INTERCAT: The International Festival of Cat Films, co-curated by Matt McKinzie and Robert Schneider and originally screened at Spectacle Theater.
“Time spent with cats is never wasted.” — Sigmund Freud
Over 100 (feline) works from the Science New Wave - From household cats to mythical panthers, from jaguars in the forest to lions in legend, felines have always prowled through our stories. This program traces their presence across history, culture, and science fiction—creatures at once sacred, feared, and fantastical.
