Create & Combine: A Collage Workshop with Tessa Hughes-Freeland

Explore the various methods and techniques involved in creating collage films from available material. A variety of film examples will be shown to demonstrate the range of conceptual and technical skills applied.

Participants will make handmade slides, which will become part of a short collage film completed in the workshop. Participants will be provided with materials to make the slides & film, and should bring a camera or handheld device capable of recording video (optional download of 8 mm app suggested).

Tessa Hughes-Freeland has been working with expanded cinema, including collage, for many years.
