Mark Blane is an actor, writer, and director whose acclaimed 16mm debut feature, Cubby, premiered in competition at Torino LGBTQI before screening at more than 30 film festivals, including Frameline, Outfest, NewFest (New York Centerpiece), and Inside Out Toronto. Through humor and vulnerability, Mark creates deeply human stories that celebrate the complexity of queer life. Mark's work spans film, television, and theater, from co-writing the Netflix documentary The Death and Life of Marsha P. Johnson to directing narrative independent shorts and appearing on Apple TV+'s Little Voice directed by Jessie Nelson and Christopher Storer. Whether behind the camera or in front of it, Mark's work is rooted in authentic, character-driven queer storytelling. IG: @markblane
