Apollo 11 is focused on the relationship between time and memory. Scenes from films and TV programs, scenes representing my teenage years during the 70s, the height of the hippie movement, Woodstock, and Latin American’s dictatorships, the Cóndor Plan, the emergence of the miniskirt, The Beatles, the arrival (reality or fiction) of a human to the Moon, the assassination of JFK, Bangladesh, the Vietnam War, etc. My interest is to work with the concept of time in a non-linear way with found footage and archive material informed by my personal memory.
