My guess is that if one knows what he or she is looking at before seeing this little film, half of its excitement and a good deal of its meaning disappear. Seen in total innocence, though (and maybe I'm exaggerating the importance of this), SKY BLUE WATER is a wonder. The Film-Makers' Cooperative is thrilled to collaborate with Black Rock Arts, co-founded by FMC filmmaker-member Jason Duval, to present an evening of water-themed 16mm and digital films by FMC filmmaker-members Dave Gearey, Ann Deborah Levy, J.J. Murphy, and Margaret Rorison. This screening is part of Black Rock Arts' larger month-long exhibition WATER, WATER, EVERYWHERE.
