Biography
Born in rural Pennsylvania, USA, Martha Colburn is an artist and filmmaker. Her films have screened in the Venice Biennelle, The Stedelijk Museum, Art Basel, Sundance Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival. She is a 2015 recipient of the Creative Capital Award for film. Her stop-motion films are animated using puppets, collage and painting on glass.
