Biography

Boris Tsessarsky has written and directed three documentaries, including the hip-hop documentary “The Remedy”, which has screened internationally. Boris’s first film, “King’s Highway: the Story of Malcolm Fairfield” was awarded Best Director of a Short Documentary at the Chain NYC Film Festival. Boris was the recipient of a 2022 NJ Council of the Arts Grant, and is currently co-directing a new film about polyamory in America. He teaches creative writing at Montclair State University and elsewhere.
