Lili White presents her interpretation of the eight hexagrams of the I Ching which fall under its House of the Gentle. The pieces are poetic collages that combine performance, which is used as a symbolic action, along with footage of nature. The hexagrams are: #57, The Gentle; The Penetrating; #9, The Taming Power of the Small; #37, The Family; #42, Increase; #25, Innocence; #21, Biting Through; #27, Providing Nourishment/The Corners of the Mouth; and #18 Decay/Work on What Has Been Spoiled.
